🔧 Key Features Implemented:

FEM-Based Beam Modeling

  • True 2D beam elements with 2 DOFs per node

  • Supports bending moment, shear force, and displacement output

Layered Soil Profile Handling

  • User-defined thickness, SPT value, and soil type

  • Automatic mapping of stiffness to depth

  • Accurate modulus of subgrade reaction based on standard correlations

Realistic Visualization

  • Displacement plots with soil layer annotations

  • Moment and shear force diagrams

  • Support for reversed axes to match geotechnical convention

Flexible Input

  • Accepts varying pile length (can be shorter than soil profile)

  • Supports both cell and string array formats for soil types

  • Configurable number of elements for precision and speed

📈 Why We Built It

Most commercial software (like LPILE) gives answers — but not understanding.SEISMIC-PILE lets us see how the pile and soil really interact — and gives us full control to extend it into:

  • Nonlinear p–y behavior

  • Group pile effects

  • Seismic performance modeling

🔮 What’s Next?

This is just Version 0.1. We're building toward:

  • A full App Designer UI

  • Drop-in ETABS support for load extraction

  • AI-guided optimization and diagnostics

  • Generative pile layouts and cost-based design

💬 Final Thought

We don’t just want to use tools — we want to build them, understand them, and shape the future of geotechnical design.

SEISMIC-PILE is more than software — it’s a mindset.

📌 Stay tuned as we bring intelligence, automation, and transparency into the heart of geostructural engineering.
