BIM stands for "Building Information Management." This technology soon becomes a new standard of building practice in Thailand. The process of BIM is shown in the figure below. They start from geometric modeling to structural analysis and design. The applications of BIM are not only for structural design but for all kinds of engineering designs and operations.
